Following the successful launch of several special edition models earlier this year across core Audi vehicle ranges, including the Q3 and Q3 Sportback Black Edition options, Audi South Africa has now added Urban Edition derivatives to the premium compact Q3 SUV and Q3 Sportback line-ups as well.
What is it?
Positioned between the Advanced and S line options, both of which remain available, the Urban Edition offerings bring a wealth of standard-fitment items while retaining the strong value-for-money prospect customers expect from the Q3 range. The Black Edition derivatives remain at the top of the Q3 and Q3 Sportback ranges.

The South African motor industry has lost one of its longstanding business figures following the passing of Jebb McIntosh, the group chief executive of Combined Motor Holdings (CMH), on Monday, 2 November 2026.
“South Africa’s automotive industry has been AGOA’s largest user, but for the sector the preference has already been largely overridden by the 25% Section 232 tariffs applied on vehicles and components. Losing AGOA adds a further cost to an industry that has already absorbed a significant shock.”
