iCAUR V25 fills the gap in the V-Series range

The iCAUR V-Series family has grown with the arrival of the new V25, unveiled at the 2026 iCAUR International User Summit in Wuhu, China. As the brand continues its international expansion, the V25 is expected to play a key role in attracting buyers seeking a rugged-looking SUV with modern electric technology.

What is it?

The V25 is the newest member of iCAUR's V-Series line-up and serves as the middle model between the compact V23 and the larger V27. While it shares the same design philosophy as its siblings, it has been developed to offer a broader mix of space, practicality and capability.

Its arrival completes a three-model V-Series family. The V23 remains the entry point to the range, the V25 adds greater versatility and powertrain choice, while the V27 continues as the flagship offering.

Powertrains:

Buyers will be able to choose between battery-electric (EV) and range-extended electric (REEV) versions of the V25.

The range-extender derivative uses the company's Golden REEV system, where a petrol engine functions primarily as a generator to support the electric drivetrain and extend driving range. Drivers can select different operating modes, including EV Priority, Hybrid and Fuel First, depending on conditions and energy requirements.

All-wheel-drive variants use a dual-motor configuration producing 335 kW and 505 Nm. Torque distribution is automatically adjusted according to available grip and road conditions.

The V25 is also designed for active lifestyles, offering a towing capacity of up to 1.8 tonnes and vehicle-to-load capability of up to 6 kW for powering external equipment.

Exterior:

The V25 continues the brand's Future Classic design language, combining retro-inspired styling with modern proportions.

Its appearance is defined by round headlights, an upright windscreen and a boxy silhouette. Design highlights include a clamshell bonnet, flat front fascia, side-opening tailgate and externally mounted full-size spare wheel.

The near-square stance reinforces the vehicle's off-road-inspired character while helping maximise interior packaging and passenger space.

Interior:

Practicality is a major theme inside the cabin. The V25 features 41 storage compartments and offers up to 1 549 litres of luggage capacity.

EV versions gain additional storage through a front luggage compartment and underfloor storage area. The front seats can also fold flat to create a resting area together with the rear seats.

Comfort features include heated and ventilated front seats, electric seat adjustment, driver's seat memory, a panoramic sunroof with powered sunshade and a 15-speaker audio system.

Features:

The V25's body structure uses a high percentage of high-strength steel to improve rigidity and safety.

Standard and available safety systems include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, blind-spot detection and driver monitoring technology.

A 540-degree surround-view camera system and automated parking assistance are also available.

One of the vehicle's standout features is its customisation capability. More than 20 factory-integrated interfaces allow owners to fit accessories without modifying critical vehicle systems.

When is it coming to SA?

iCAUR has not yet confirmed South African launch timing, pricing or final specifications for the V25. The company says market-specific details will be announced closer to individual market introductions. For now, local buyers will have to wait for official confirmation regarding the model's arrival.
