The 2023 running of the Simola Hillclimb will be the thirteenth edition of what has become South Africa’s premier motorsport lifestyle event with a growing international footprint.

With COVID-19 thankfully behind us, it’s once again all systems go for the 13th edition of the Simola Hillclimb scheduled for 4 – 7 May 2023. We are expecting a full house of spectators and corporate guests over the weekend, while competitors can lodge their intentions to enter from 1 October 2022 until 31 January 2023 after which the field will be set and we get ready for action.

The 9th Festival of Motoring is coming to Kyalami soon with 21 automotive brands including Volkswagen, BMW, Toyota, Suzuki, Chery, GWM and new entrants such as Jaecoo and Omoda. It will be held at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, Johannesburg from 28 to 30 August 2026. This is South Africa’s premier motoring showcase, offering test drives, hot laps, 4x4 experiences, lifestyle zones and premium hospitality, under the theme “Driven by purpose, defined by legacy”
