Leading the celebrations was Jaun Marais, Franchise Executive for GWM within Hatfield Motor Group, who received the coveted Annual Performance Star – Headquarters Award. The recognition honours exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and a relentless commitment to growing the GWM brand in South Africa.
Competing against high-performing markets from across the globe, Jaun achievement reflects years of dedication, strategic vision, and a leadership approach grounded in building strong teams and sustainable growth. Adding to the group’s global success was Elsabe Herselman of GWM Menlyn, who was awarded the Annual Marketing Star Award – Headquarters Award. Recognised for marketing excellence, innovation, and impactful brand growth, Elsabe achievement highlights the strength of local creativity competing successfully on an international platform.
The award celebrates not only individual achievement, but also the culture of innovation and customer-focused thinking that continues to shape the success of GWM Menlyn and the broader Hatfield Motor Group network.

Further reinforcing the group’s global standing, GWM Sandton, led by Josh Rigby, received the Brand Sales Excellence Award for Haval, a recognition awarded to top-performing dealers worldwide for exceptional sales performance, customer experience, and consistent brand representation.
The Hatfield Group says the achievements are more than trophies on a stage in China; they are a celebration of South African talent, teamwork, and the belief that world-class success can be achieved through aligned vision and unwavering dedication.
